Eight Pranam-mantras for Srila Gurudeva Prayers To Śr?la Bhaktived?nta N?r?ya?a Gosv?m? Mah?r?ja aj?ana timirandhasya j?an anjana ?alakaya cakur unmilitam yena tasmai śri gurave namah I was born in the darkness of ignorance and my divine master opened my eyes with the torch of divine knowledge. I bow down to him. 1) vande ?ham śr? guruvaram śr? r?p?nug? pravaram vraja-rasa rasika? ca n?r?ya?am ta? prapannam I adore the greatest of divine masters, Śr? Śr?mad Bhaktived?nta N?r?ya?a Gosv?m? Mah?r?ja; he is the foremost of the followers of Śr?la R?pa Gosv?m? and the r?p?nuga-guruvarga, and he is always relishing vraja-rasa?I surrender unto him. 2) śr? guru-carana? vande rama?a pre??h?ya bh?tale r?p?nug? bhaktida? ca k?pa murti n?r?ya?am I bow down to the lotus feet of the embodiment of mercy, Śr? Śr?mad Bhaktived?nta N?r?ya?a Gosv?m? Mah?r?ja; he is dearly loved by Śr? Rama?a-bih?r?, and he gives the treasure of r?p?nug?-bhakti, transcendental spontenous love and devotion to God. 3) sev? ku?je vraje ramye govardhana girau sad? r?dh? ku??e ras?nande tat tat sev? prad?yakam Śr?la Gurudeva is eternally residing in the beautiful Sev?-ku?ja of Vraja, at Mount Giri Govardhana, and at R?dh?-ku??a lagoon. There, he is immersed in the bliss of nectarean mellows of rasa, and he grants entrance into the service of R?dh?-K???a as Their maidservant. 4) guru? n?r?yan?khyam tam vande vinoda pre??hakam yat p?da sm?ti m?trena d?modara pras?dati I pray to Śr?la Gurudeva, Bhaktived?nta N?r?ya?a Gosv?m? Mah?r?ja, who is very dear to Śr? Vinoda Ma?jari. Simply by remembering his lotus feet one pleases Śr? Śr? R?dh?-Damodara. 5) n?r?ya?am prabhum vande karu??ghana vigraham r?ga-m?rga bhaktim dattv? t?rayati tribh?vanam I offer my respects unto Śr?la Bhaktived?nta N?r?ya?a Gosv?m? Mah?r?ja; he is the reservior of boundless compassion, and he bestows the path of r?ga-bhakti, thus delivering the three worlds. 6) gaurahari para?-pre??ha nity?nanda abhinnaka śr?-gaura-n?r?ya?a bhakta- b?ndhava priya-sevaka ?Śr? Gaura N?r?ya?a is very dear to Gaurahari and is a non-different manifestation of Nity?nanda Prabhu. He is the friend of all devotees and the dearest of sevakas.? 7) n?r?ya?am gurum-vande śaranyam bhakta-b?ndhavam gaura-manobhi??am p?rnam r?dh?-dasyam-prad?yakam I offer prayers unto Śr?la Gurudeva, Bhaktived?nta N?r?ya?a Gosv?m? Mah?r?ja, who, as Bhakta-b?ndhava, is the most worthy shelter for everyone. He fulfills the inner-heart desire of Gaurahari and bestows r?dh?-dasyam, the position of being R?dh?r?n??s intimate maidservant. 8) r?p?nug?carya-varya? r?pa-ma?jari-pre??hakam patita-p?vana-b?ndhava yug?carya n?r?ya?am Śr?la Gurudeva is the foremost of the ?c?ryas in the line of Śr?la R?pa Gosv?m? in the present era, and is the dearmost of Śr? R?pa Ma?jari. He purifies the fallen through his friendship, and he is the principle spiritual preceptor of this age.
